Very quick brief update

So it seems that I because I no longer have lonely time or time alone doing nothing I have been incredibly slack updating my blog. Sorry! Anyway I have started making notes on my movements and the funny, entertaining and random moments to share with you from the past two weeks...

I am currently in Cairns with Harriet and we're heading out to the reef tomorrow. Yipee!! We've been here (in the Cairns region for 8 days) and we've been up to Cape Tribulation, the Daintree, inland to the Atherton Tablelands - where the rainforest meets the desert - and back to Cairns.

For the week prior to Harriet arriving I had a Dutch couple hitch hiking with me. We went to Magnetic Island for two nights and then made out way north via the waterfalls and rainforests in the Wet Tropics - key word is WET. pretty sure we everything I owned was soggy for at least a week - stupid wet season!

Anyway Harriet's just given me the hurry up to get the bed set up for sleeping - she gets cramped in George when I have the table set up. She also hits her head when she stands and complains of being caustaphobic (please no comments on the spelling!!).

Hopefully there will be a much more entertaining and insightful entry coming soon.

Oh and I hope to upload some of the 1400 photos I have taken on facebook soon.
